National Blackjack Day started as a way to bring attention to the shift in many land-based casinos from 3:2 payout tables, and other changes that have negatively impacted the odds to win, and ultimately reduce the enjoyment of the game & the chances to win for both skilled and amateur players.
It was an absolute fun time leading a team of two Brand Ambassadors on this fun street adventure. We stormed the streets of Ottaw, Ontario Canada, interacting with people over the age of 19 about Fanduel Online Casino. March 2nd (3:2) was chosen for a very specific reason. In recent years, more casinos started moving away from 3:2 payouts for blackjack to 6:5 payouts. This trend was taking money away from players, and tilting the odds even further to the house. This slowly erodes the chances of players winnings and some of the enjoyment of the game.
